Check-in time is after 12 p.m. There are no early check-ins, and everyone MUST check in at our store/office before entering the campground. Please let us know if you’ll arrive after store hours so that a packet will be on the storefront. If you will need wood, please let us know and pay for it ahead of time. Wood and ice are locked when we close.
Checkout time for the campground is before 11 a.m. to prepare the sites for noon check-ins. Late checkouts are not an option. These times apply to visitors as well.
Quiet hours are from 10 p.m. to 8 a.m. Playground use is from 8:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
All visitors and their cars must be approved and paid for before entry. No visitors will be allowed to enter between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. because we are closed for clean-up during that hour. The registered guest is responsible for this. Remember that only one car is allowed per site. Arrangements for visitors’ cars will be made at the time of approval and payment. Every vehicle must display a valid car pass. If our very limited visitors parking is full, you may park at the Lincoln Municipal Lot at Lincoln PD.
We do not ever allow visitors or anyone from the campground in our cabins or trailer. Click here to see the policy for our rentals.
Bears and other wildlife wander the property on occasion. Keep the outside of your cabin or travel trailer clean and free of trash, and store your food and coolers inside. Please place trash in the dumpster near the main entrance before dusk. Never approach wildlife.
When driving, please keep in mind not to go over the speed limit of 5 mph and look at the caution sign: “Children at play.” Pedestrians have the right of way, so slow down and wait until they’ve crossed.
Please do not wash vehicles in the campground.
Do not move any rocks in or around the river or our pond. This can cause flooding of the campground and is dangerous. It is highly recommended that children are supervised in and at the river, pond, and brook, and they must not throw anything, including rocks, at our pet ducks. Swimming and wading in the river and the creek are at your own risk.
Fireplaces and fire rings may not be moved for any reason. Fires must be kept at a safe level and attended to at all times.
Firewood, firestarters, and marshmallow sticks are all sold at the store during store hours only for your convenience. Cutting, damaging, or breaking of trees (dead or alive), shrubs, picnic tables (let us know at arrival if yours are damaged), or any other personal property belonging to us is prohibited. Intentional damage to our trees is vandalism, and a police report will accompany your eviction.
No fireworks or slingshots ever.
It is highly recommended that children be supervised on the entire property, especially at the water. The registered adult at each site is responsible for their children and all party members. Children should be supervised in the restrooms, game room, and playground. No food or drink is allowed in the game room; a trash can is outside the room for this purpose.
Sitting or standing on games, occupying or running through others’ sites, and yelling or screaming are disruptive and unacceptable. Children shouldn’t use bicycles in the campground after dusk. Children
must be at their sites during quiet hours. Any parent allowing their children to be a nuisance will be asked to leave.
Pets cannot be left unattended, and dogs must be on a leash at all times. When you leave your site, you must take them with you. It is your responsibility to pick up after them. We cannot allow dogs to bark constantly, disturbing other campers. Please do not let them wander onto or through any other campsites.
Owners are fully responsible for their pets’ actions. Read more about our pet policy.
No generators, please. Also, avoid littering. This includes cigarette butts and candy wrappers (kindly supervise children on the playground).
Trespassing is entering the property without registration or permission from the owners. Theft includes taking anything home from our property that you did not bring or buy. Theft of Services is a common legal term that includes, but is not limited to: using electricity for any purpose at a site other than your own, parking on a site not registered to you, cooking in a cabin or trailer for campground occupants, or harboring unregistered guests. Property damage includes vandalism, defacing, cutting, or harming any of our furnishings, trees, and plants, or property at this address. These offenses will lead to immediate eviction, a police report, and prosecution of the registered guest.
We don’t tolerate intoxication, obscenity, vulgarity, or harassment. Moreover, we’ll not approach anyone acting in a disorderly manner. We only allow alcohol consumption in moderation. Local or state police will handle a police report and immediate eviction.
Please report any activity disturbing other guests to the office at once. Emergency numbers and after-hours information are posted on the office/store door after business hours and on the map you received at arrival. An emergency phone is available at the office during business hours.
Please read all of the information below before you make a reservation with us. There are rules set in place for the safety and comfort of all our guests and the preservation of our lovely “small house” cabins. Please understand that if someone comes here to visit you, we will not allow them entry. No exceptions.
We only allow a certain number of people in each of our rentals. Your original registration and confirmation must include each guest using the cabin or trailer. Any unregistered guest will automatically result in a police report and eviction based on theft of services and trespassing.
